| Hello dear reader, and welcome to: Bulletin
nr2. We have not yet recived any text from outside scandinavia. We
find it very important that as many people as possible take part in the
discussion about modern identity, and domicile, as you understand we are
not sitting here writing the script for each one of you to use in the discussions
this summer. So load up your minds and hit the keyboards, crayons or whatever
form you want to use to express your thoughts, we hope that this second
Bulletin will trigg you to perform. We all know that the idea of a mobile
EASA is very attractive and in it self intresting, but what we really
need is your help on developing the theme. So if you find the theme somehowe
weak on any point, you are very welcome to write us your opinion. Come
with criticism, god or bad, we need some feedback. As a direct response
to the discussions about the atmosphere of the resent EASA´s,
with this EASA we want to establish a more ”serious” approach, more firmly
connected to the subject that intrests us all, namely Architecture. Bring
a fancy costume/dress for one or two party nights, but above all, bring
your sharp mind. About the internet The UK-site has recently had
a face lift, looks better than ever. The chat is pretty quiet, but will
surely as people discover it´s great potential devolop to an intresting
space for communicating in between EASA´s, SESAM´s e.t.c. Have
a look, if you get lucky Miguel from Spain is there. He can tell you about
the little exposition on the theme for this summer that he arranged together
with 80 aspiring participants in Valencia. As we understand, he made a
lottery among all exibiters to decide on who to bring in his Valencia quota.
Further on the internet, the Scandinavian site has been a bit slow
on the updating so far, sorry, we will improve. A Norwegian whiz-kid is
on the task to make it look and work better, hopefully it will be in good
shape when you get this bulletin. So when you finished talking to Miguel
drop by and share the latest news on http://www.easa1997.chalmers.se/.
There might not yet be so much material that came in after the editing
of this bulletin. The way we aim to run this bulletin/web thing is to publish
all material on the internet site as soon as we recieve it, and then at
the bulletin deadlines print it all for you who do not have access to the
internet. If we manage to get this working, the next bulletin won´t
contain material you didn´t see before, provided you have access
to the Internet and where interested enough to use it. You are offcourse
very welcome to leave us a note, even a report on the amounts of rain from
Ireland would make us happy. We are working on a media-waggon to
be within the train-structure, a resource with filmscreen, xerox-machine,
video-equipment for documentation, fax, on-line connection whith the Internet,
computers for umbrella and all others who need them, etc. We will also
keep the home page running throughout the trip with continuous updating
of the workshop´s progressions, umbrella on-line sort of. This will
enable our fellow students who didn´t fit in the quota or had work
to attend at home and all those non-europeans that think our inquiries
concerning mobility are interesting, to follow us on our investigation
of the mobile society. Maybe some workshop even is interested to be guided
in their work by someone not on the train, a blind leading the ones
who see? Another possibility is that the tutors, that you will present
to us pretty soon, have their workshop description connected to a mailbox
until the meeting starts, then you could start reacting on the workshops
at once, to know which are the nicest tutors etc. Further we could use
our on-line connection to have Lectures with Neil Armstrong standing on
the moon projected bigscreen in the swedish woods, not as expensive as
to charter a shuttel to bring him down here among us mortals. Enjoj
the reading and react to the theme,we wish you lots of fun and happy
days until we all meet in July! by Fredrik Prytz and Joacim Bengtsson 3/3-97
